Family, Partner / Spouse and Dependant Visas

Hi ,

I applied for HSMP from UK and got my HSMP approval letter on Jan'08 , After this i sent my passport for Tier 1 General Visa stamping on the basis of my old HSMP Approval letter on March'08 . I was granted 3 year Tier 1 general Visa on the basis of my old HSMP approval letter .

I now desire to bring my Wife (Who is in India at the moment) to UK as my dependant . She had been to VFS office in India and it looks like they are confused on the following issues

1) Which application she should make (i.e. HSMP dependant / Tier 1 General Dependant)
2) Which form she has to fill up (i.e. VAF2/VAF10)
3) What should be the fees of her application (i.e. 17000/51000 INR)

Can somebody please help me out here .

I went to vfs office on april 16 in chennai and they told me fees is changed. I had taken a dd on april 2nd and they asked me to change it. The fee is 17000 now . My wife is in UK under hsmp for last 3 yrs and I want to join her as dependant. They asked me to fill Tier1 general dependant and VAF2 form.hope this clarifies.
