Hi
The minimum fund requirement as of now for tier 1 general visa is GBP 2800 for 3 months immediate prior to application. Further it states and additional GBP 1600 for each dependent.
My current situation is that I am planning to leave for UK nest month and my spouse (only person dependent on me) would be joining me after 2-3 months once I am in UK. In that case the minimum fund requirement applicable on me at the time of application is GBP 2800 or GBP 4400.
In case it is GBP 4400 is it going to help if I do not disclose the fact that she will join me after 2-3 months in UK.

The question relates to whether or not you intend for your wife to join you within the first 12 months. Of course, you might intend to be in the UK for one year and get settled before bringing your wife, but intentions can change.
